Knowing the Kiubers 001: Francisco Ruiz

We are launching a section to meet the KIUBERS, the members of the KIUBIX team, who are professionals with a passion for technology and generating web solutions for Mexican businesses.

During these interviews we will see the human side behind one of the fastest growing Mexican companies in the area. Today is the turn of Francisco Ruiz Lopez, director by KIUBIX.

1. What is your role at KIUBIX?

Currently I have to lead the direction of KIUBIX, since I and some friends founded KIUBIX in 2001 I have had different roles. technical support, server manager, web development and whatever was offered at the time.

Now I am in charge of the management, where I see that the different business units and administrative areas coordinate to offer quality products and services to our clients

2. What training did you have or what did you study?

I studied the Electronics and Digital Systems Engineering, but since I was studying high school I learned programming in web platforms (PHP and MySQL), later and while I was studying the university I also did some courses in design and digital marketing.

3. What has been your favorite project on KIUBIX?

Uh! it is difficult to choose one. It is exciting to work with clients and see how we can help them build their projects, but I am also very excited to develop internal projects, such as Adminit or Kearnit, which are web applications that we sell as SaaS.

4. What achievement are you most proud of during your career at KIUBIX?

Being able to create a workplace where we can all do what we like the most, and that what we like rewards us financially gives me a lot of satisfaction. The Seeing kiubers come in (that's what we call ourselves who work at KIUBIX) and develop in a professional way reminds me of the reason why I created the company.

5. Who do you admire?

Definitely to my parents, I come from a working family. Since I was a kid I learned the cost of money and how effort always pays off.

My parents have always been my role model worthy of imitation, not only out of gratitude or because I learned to be an entrepreneur from them, they have also taught me to lead a balanced life and a united family.

7. Any hidden talents?

Uhm, not that I know of, I think I like to exploit the little or much that I can and know how to do.

The rebellion of Atlas, by Ayn Rand.
