Basic questions for the entrepreneur
If you are an entrepreneur or you are in the beginning of the constitution of a small or medium company (SME), it would be convenient to keep in mind the following so that not everything is in good wishes:
What is the ease of starting a business?, since the procedures according to the business line are sometimes very repetitive and require multiple visits, paperwork and negotiations.
What supports would be needed?, it would be convenient to have comprehensive care according to the segment of the company which can be offered both in person and virtually, thereby developing a new form of linkage between SME entrepreneurs and the government.
Among the main supports that a SME may require are having campaigns that promote the consumption of their products, support through a salary subsidy for growing SMEs, training, adequate financing and a productive articulation that allows access to the markets.
But Are all SMEs the same?Generally, this is not the case, therefore, it is convenient to look for practical and concise solutions through various profiles that allow identifying specific problems that can be cataloged in a specific business profile.
Is the culture of the region being taken into account? Each SME has the idiosyncrasy of the region where it is located, therefore, considering its culture can stimulate the consumption of local products and services to encourage the creation of new SMEs or associations of them that produce and consume the products and services. local. This encourages internal regional consumption and the rescue of traditional sectors that are deeply rooted locally.
Where can you get care and support? It is preferable in one place, since it is well known that the SME entrepreneur has to go from one place to another looking for procedures, identifying offices and people to find a type of support. Therefore, having a single service center where practical and concise solutions are offered is essential.
The ideal is the change in the paradigm corresponding to the government going to look for companies to offer them services and not waiting for them to request support, which allows offering advice directly in the place where the employer requires it.
Can you make an entrepreneur or are you born being one? This can be answered by promoting business accelerators, business incubators, as well as entrepreneur factories that generate the development of new processes and new technologies that allow consolidating the competitiveness of SMEs at a global level. The new Mexico Emprende program is now available, which aims to strengthen the entrepreneur and businessperson.
How to organize support? It can be said that comprehensive support to an SME can be given in five aspects: training and technical advice, financing, productive articulation, innovation and technological development and access to markets. Considering these factors by both the entrepreneur and the authority helps to obtain better benefits.
Where to establish the SME?, which can be done in industrial parks specially designed for this type of company, where incubators, business accelerators, and the exchange of services between SMEs (such as a supermarket of products and services) can be linked.
Considering all these factors, do everything possible so that your purposes for your SME do not remain only in good wishes, remember that one of the main advantages of being a small or medium entrepreneur is the flexibility to face the challenges.
Additional issues for the employer
Once the external panorama of the entrepreneur has been visualized, it is worth questioning his immediate environment, that is, to know what will be the purposes that the entrepreneur should have for his company in the year? Where should he start? Which of all the purposes Can they be achieved? Which one goes first, which ones will follow? And also which of them can be achieved? Which objectives are aligned with the mission of the company? Which ones can generate a competitive advantage?
The work of an entrepreneur is arduous, however the positive results after a good analysis and solution of these questions help the company to be successful in the future.
