At the time, she was helping one of her cousins solve her math homework.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I did was review your doubts and write down the steps on a piece of paper, record it and send it by\u00a0<i>WhatsApp<\/i>. She shared it with her colleagues and it also helped them to solve their doubts, that&#039;s why I thought it was a good idea to upload it to\u00a0<i>Youtube<\/i>\u00a0to help more people \u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted that mathematics is solved with a certain methodology, that is, &quot;through steps&quot; until the problem is solved.<\/p>\n<p>The university student shared that when planning her videos she uses the IF agenda, and expressed that it is important to go from the base to the most complex. Its methodology consists of reviewing the topics with different books, making summaries, design and practice of draft exercises.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;I started making my videos on a white board, but it took me a long time, now I have a tripod parallel to my desk and a notebook in which I write all the exercises,&quot; said the engineer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCbho5-gJi8FwvhVFzfod6VQ\"><i>Steps through Engineering<\/i>\u00a0<\/a>has 560 videos on the platform\u00a0<i>Google<\/i>, more than eight million views and 110 thousand subscribers. &quot;Reaching this number filled me with a lot of emotion and motivation to continue with the project,&quot; Marisol said.<\/p>\n<p>In three and a half years,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCbho5-gJi8FwvhVFzfod6VQ\"><i>Steps through Engineering<\/i><\/a>\u00a0It has grown exponentially, which has allowed it to reach Spain, Venezuela, Colombia, the United States and England. &quot;My largest audience is between 16 and 25 years old and they belong to different careers such as Administration, Medicine, Law or Economics, among others.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the fact that entertainment content predominates on the internet, in October 2018\u00a0<i>Youtube<\/i>announced an investment of 20 million dollars for its project\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCdxpofrI-dO6oYfsqHDHphw\"><i>YouTube Learning<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to data from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SusanWojcicki\">Susan Wojcicki,<\/a>\u00a0CEO of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thinkwithgoogle.com\/consumer-insights\/online-video-shopping\/\"><i>Youtube<\/i>,<\/a>\u00a0in the last two years the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thinkwithgoogle.com\/consumer-insights\/online-video-shopping\/\">\u00a070 percent of users<\/a>s watched videos to learn something new.
