Be a\u00a0entrepreneur<\/a>\u00a0It is similar to being a professional athlete in the sense that many people want to play that role, but very few have what it takes to make it to the big leagues. You also require a long list of skills to do it. Here are ten things that separate entrepreneurs from employees.<\/p>\n

1. 2. They understand self-worth.\u00a0<\/span>Many people consider their savings or the stock market their best investments. An entrepreneur knows that he himself is his best investment and is not afraid to reinvest in it.<\/p>\n

3. They are not afraid of competition.<\/span>\u00a0Entrepreneurs accept it. To be the best, you need to compete with the best. Everyone remembers the neighborhood boy who played with the younger children so that he could be the most recognized. Where is that child today?<\/p>\n

4. Going low is not enough.\u00a0<\/span>A large percentage of people have set goals and are satisfied when they reach them. Making a certain amount of money or receiving a specific promotion at work are other examples. An entrepreneur is not satisfied in the same place and will constantly work to continue growing in all aspects.<\/p>\n

5. Willingness to learn.\u00a0<\/span>Successful entrepreneurs are not afraid of being surrounded by individuals who are more successful than they are. Some people may be filled with envy or jealousy, but an entrepreneur sees it as a\u00a0chance\u00a0<\/span>for an education. The learning phase of entrepreneurship never ends, there are always classes.<\/p>\n

6. They never give up.\u00a0<\/span>In situations where many quit and face failure, an entrepreneur will continue to accomplish the task that they set out to complete. Unexpected bumps in the road are challenges that are accepted and ultimately overcome. The word "surrender" does not exist in the business dictionary.<\/p>\n

7. They accept only the perfect.<\/span>\u00a0Being involved with something that has some success is not acceptable for an entrepreneur. Neither wakes up in the morning with the goal of being invited to a moderately successful project.<\/p>\n

8. Work ethic 24\/7.<\/span>\u00a0When they ask me why I work so hard, my answer is always the same: "Because I love it!" Although many people start work at 9 am and turn off the switch at 5 pm, an entrepreneur is always focused on the big picture. Entrepreneurs will do whatever it takes to achieve specific goals, even if that means they will work overtime.<\/p>\n

9. They show confidence.\u00a0<\/span>Have you ever tried to give someone a compliment only to get something like, "Thanks, but I don't look so good." Entrepreneurs are the opposite. If someone tells me that my marketing agency did a great job, I will agree with them.<\/p>\n

10. Without fear.\u00a0<\/span>An entrepreneur understands that there is an element of risk in everything, even if it involves jumping out of an airplane or starting a new business. Without that fear, you can be 100 percent on task.<\/p>\n

There is no on \/ off switch for entrepreneur mode. The most successful eat, breathe and live all day with it.<\/p>\n
