On the internet we find an optical illusion that makes us have a nightmare vision by looking at a point fixedly. It happens that with completely common celebrity stock photos (think of a Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie that you have seen hundreds of times in magazines, websites, movies and digital photos), added to a cross in the middle of a black field, the faces of these people transform in a peculiar way, check it out yourself:
WHOA.
Stare at the cross for ~ 10 seconds.
Your brain will make the colors disappear.(it & #39; s crazy. And it & #39; s called the Troxler effect –– another clue how our minds filter reality) pic.twitter.com/lJRyPrw234

Here we have another example:
Stare at the image for about half a minute without moving your eyes and watch as it gradually disappears. This is a variation of #Troxler's effect which essentially says that if you fixate your eyes on a certain point, stimuli near that point will gradually fade. pic.twitter.com/qjIrhKpO2V

This is called the Troxler effect, and it has to do with how our brains filter reality. And also the as with so little (see a picture and that's it) we can get confused. We read this explanation on Tele 13:
As you may have noticed - and always as long as your eyes remained still - the spots in the image disappeared. Once you blink or look away, they reappear.
The phenomenon is called "Troxler effect" and it refers to the loss of peripheral vision when you fixate on a specific point. The same goes for the so-called "Driver's tunnel" when driving a vehicle at higher speeds.
While the morph of the photos is creepy, I couldn't help but feel dizzy with the second image. And you?
