How much does it cost to charge a Tesla?

One of the most frequent questions for newbies (like your server insurance) on the subject of electric cars is the cost of charging them, and if you can even do that at home. In which case, is it really cheaper than spending on gasoline?

In the previous video, one of the few vloggers who speak in Spanish about Tesla (Eduardo Arcos, from Hipertextual) explains the difference between charging it at a specialized station or using a home installation. And most importantly, it also tells us about the cost:

If you do not have the patience to watch the entire video, the answer is simple: charging a Tesla Model 3 to 100% of its capacity has a cost of 5.25 euros (Eduardo is located in Madrid), which is less than 120 Mexican pesos in the type current exchange rate (May 2019).

It must be remembered that with a full battery, the Model 3 has a range of up to 523 kilometers and if you are scared of its cost of almost 1 million pesos (with an entry option of 835 thousand pesos) think about all the gasoline tanks that you will save.

Of course, Tesla's infrastructure in Mexico is another story.
