Can you tell us a little more about Cyberwag?

At Cyberwag we are a Mexican organization founded in 2011, with headquarters in the city of Aguascalientes, in addition to having a presence in the US.

We provide information security services in the country and in the North American market through Nearshore.

Our specialties are: Digital Risk Management and Cybersecurity, Compliance, Data Protection and Privacy and Training and assignment of Specialized Staffing.

What should Mexican companies understand about computer security?

Today, cyber threats are the order of the day, only in Mexico around 20% of large companies are prepared for a cybersecurity contingency, while SMEs do not have a minimum cybersecurity protocol, much less a rescue and recovery plan. For this reason, all organizations must work to keep up-to-date and educate their collaborators (from the owners and managers, to the collaborator who have the lowest rank within the organizational structure, including clients and suppliers) about why the Information security protection is everyone's responsibility.

How has KIUBIX helped you meet those goals?

By giving me an excellent level of service in hosting, which has allowed me to focus my efforts on other operations.

What operations? In these posts within Cyberwag I have talked about what we do in the company and the importance of this work.

What is the mission of the Maker Center?

MAKER CENTER arises with the objective of stimulating the economic development of the region through the innovation and design of new educational systems, using technologies to create a new, internationally competitive generation.

Over the years, MAKER CENTER, began to develop its own models of hybrid innovation management processes, mainly for educational institutions, later they were adopted by organizations and governments.

Can you tell us about your role in the Aguascalientes Information Technology Cluster?

I am currently the president of InnovaTIA, in a period that includes .2019 to 2021. InnovaTIA brings together organizations, especially MSMEs, focused on services and products in the ICT area. Aguascalientes, in addition to the automotive sector, has as a tractor industry the ICT area.

However, this area has only been promoted by large transnational corporations, and A cluster such as InnovaTIA, tries to support with links so that emerging companies and companies classified as MSMEs In the area of information technology, they have the opportunity to get on the value chains of the sector, even generate their own “links”, thus developing an industry of a strategic sector for the State.

Finally, what gives you the most pride in your company?
