The Mexican Space Agency signed an agreement with NASA a couple of days ago to promote science and technology in the country, as well as to improve competition in this sector.
This movement helps the federal government's plans to promote economic development, in addition to including Mexico in the knowledge society.
One of the greatest advantages of this agreement lies in the possibility that Mexican university students pursuing the undergraduate or graduate level can participate in NASA's international internship program.
For his part, Charles F. Bolden, General Administrator of the US space agency, commented:
We are very interested in collaborating with Mexico in the development of human capital in the space field. Above all, inspire teachers to use space as a motivator for new generations.
In later days the Mexican Space Agency will be announcing the call for this program, which we will cover by this means.
