Jay Z, founder of Roc nation. The well-known rapper has built an empire that includes a record label, clothing line, and a small stake in the Brooklyn Nets basketball team. His latest venture is the sports agency Roc Nation Sports, a division of his entertainment company Roc Nation, whose first client is New York Yankees player Robinson Cano.

Kevin Systrom, co-founder of Instagram. This popular social network for taking, editing and sharing photos has more than 100 million registered users, and in April 2012 it was acquired by Facebook for a billion dollars. 

Michael Kors, founder of Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. He is considered one of the most important designers in the United States for his 'sport-luxury' style clothing.

Ren zhengfei, founder and CEO of Huawei, a leading global provider of communication and technology solutions. 

Elon musk, founder of SpaceX and Tesla Motors. Musk is also a co-founder of PayPal and is a serial technology entrepreneur. SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies) is a private space transportation company, while Tesla Motors manufactures and sells electric cars. 

Tadashi yanai, founder and CEO of Fast Retailing (mother company of the renowned clothing firm Uniqlo). 

Sam yagan, co-founder of OKCupid, a free online dating site.

David einhorn, founder and president of Greenlight Capital, a hedge fund. The company invests primarily in public offerings and shares.  

Alex atala, chef and owner of the Brazilian cuisine restaurant SUN based in Sao Paulo.

Wang Shu, architect and co-founder of Amateur Architecture Studio, a firm that tries to propagate the concept of reconstruction of local Chinese architecture in different spaces. 

Andrew Ng and Daphne Kolle, co-founders of Coursera, a free virtual education platform. 

Perry chen, co-founder and CEO of Kickstarter, the main crowdfunding platform. 

Roya Mahboob, founder of Afghan Citadel Software Co., an information and technology consulting firm.

Kai-Fu Lee, founder of Innovation Works, a fund and incubator that seeks to create five successful Chinese startups per year on the internet and mobile.
